Rory Fordyce

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the death of our managing director and founder Rory Fordyce who passed away suddenly at home. Rory was an extremely hard working professional who was driven by a passion to always do his best for all his clients and he cared for others including his staff and colleagues. He had a work ethic that was not only remarkable for the amount of time he devoted to business it was unlikely to be matched or even achievable by others including younger colleagues.

Rory was also an extraordinarily talented individual who had a “high octane” zest for life though some may be forgiven for wondering how he ever managed to find the time to enjoy a life outside of work.

He was much loved and is very much missed by everyone at Taylor Fordyce and by his many clients who had all benefitted from generous amounts of his time and no doubt his wise advice and also by his many friends and of course by his loving family of whom he was most proud.

Thank you Rory for your steadfast and wise guidance, your consistent and welcome support and for the trust you had shown in your colleagues. And we say farewell to a truly remarkable man who was a kind gentleman and a consummate professional.
