Alternative Dispute Resolution Solicitors

Alternative Dispute Resolution or ADR is simply a process whereby a dispute is concluded without expensive court action and can be achieved in various ways including by informal negotiation or a meeting followed by the completion of a settlement agreement.

The court rules require all parties to a civil dispute to consider ADR in the hope of avoiding litigation, where and if possible. Therefore, whether you wish to pursue a claim or defend one, you will need to engage in some form of ADR before or during any court proceedings.
